We fuss. We fight. We argue. & we try to understand each other through yelling and harsh words. But at the end of the day, I know deep down in my heart that you are home. & I also know that one day, I will live the rest of my life with you. We will make a home for ourselves, and for the children that we will one day bear, and we will add one chapter right after the other to the story that we have started two years ago. I will live everyday trying to fulfill your every need and although I may do it with a bit of attitude on most days, I just want you to know that I also do it with every ounce of love that my tiny frame can hold.

I promise that I will be difficult, and I promise that I will not be the easiest person to figure out. But one more thing that I do promise is to never give up on us and the person that I fell in love with.

At the end of each disagreement, I am even more assured that this relationship is something that completes me, because without you colors are dull and things lose their shape. Without you, life just isn’t the same. Without you, I’m not the same.
